I enjoyed a fantastic afternoon today making my most recent vlog post for my YouTube channel, it was a gorgeous day here on the island! The sun was shining and the temp was warm as I visited the prestigious Island Moorings subdivision in Port Aransas, Texas. This canal front development is well known as one of the flagship landmarks in PA. The canals are fed by Corpus Christi Bay and are a favorite residential location for boat owners and fisherman alike.

Island Moorings is located at the south end of town and is one of only three island developments with "boat to your backdoor" accessibility. You can literally come in from a long day on the Gulf of Mexico and end up at your doorstep. Most homes have a boat lift or docking space allowing for this amenity. Launched originally in the 1960's and then revived in the 1980's, it still continues to be a very well sought after location to reside in Port A, whether full time or as a vacation residence. No short term rentals are allowed as per the zoning of Island Moorings thus allowing for a more "neighborly" feel.









Each home is unique and not one the same. You can spend hours driving the palm tree lined streets admiring each home's architecture and originality.
